Devearts promotes and sells contemporary art from developing countries. We provide a platform for an international audience to get acquainted with, and inspired by, the work and lives of artists from developing countries.

Our vision is to promote progress through art. To foster both artists' and art-lovers' ability to progress artistically, culturally, socially, and economically. To contribute to making life, making interest, making importance.

Founded by Lydeke Schakel, who is specialised in contemporary art from Sub-Saharan Africa, Devearts works together with an extensive network of artists and art experts in developing countries to find new promising artists and build long-term cooperation relationships. We promote and sell artwork of these, carefully selected, talented artists via the website and exhibitions.

In addition, we provide the following services to businesses, public and not-for profit organizations, and individuals:

- Assist with the investment in, and development of, art collections;

- Organize commissioned exhibitions, art performances and events;

- Facilitate commissioned artwork;

- Organize art safari trips; and

- Organize lectures and other educational and informational activities.
